The Urban League does not give handouts, instead we provide people with the training necessary to enter the workforce and enhance their ability to support themselves and their families. Your membership will serve as a direct investment in our programs and helps us “Empower Communities and Change Lives!”
Membership begins at only $25 and the fee is tax deductible!
Membership dues account for approximately 13% of our operating budget.

WHO BENEFITS FROM YOUR MEMBERSHIP?
Urban League clients –the men, women, and children who participate in our various programs- are the beneficiaries of Membership dues. When you become a Member of the Urban League Movement, you help support the programs and operations of our organization.
For example:
• $1,000 in Membership dues can provide scholarships for ten children to participate in one week of our Technology Summer Camp.
• $5000 in Membership dues can provide scholarships for two adults to participate in our Workforce Development program for which we have an 85% job placement rate.
All Memberships Levels Include:
- 1-yr. Membership
- Email Club
- Invitation to special events (including Annual Meeting)
and free seminars
- Discounts for various clubs, programs, and services
All Memberships at the $50 level and above are invited to join either our Guild or Young Professionals Auxiliary Groups.
The Young Professionals meet the 1st Monday of every month at 6:00 pm at various locations.
The Urban League Guild meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:45 pm at the Urban League.
