Click here for our Volunteer application All Volunteers must complete our online Volunteer applications. When Volunteer opportunities arise, you will be notified via email. In addition, you are welcome to contact the designated person about specific opportunities that are listed below.
Adult Program Volunteers:
Needed: Tutors
- Description: Assist clients in the adult basic skills class with very basic Math & English skills.
- # of Volunteers Needed: 1 Volunteer per class, 4 days a week
- Time: Monday – Thursday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Needed: Proofreaders & Mock Interviewers
- Description: Proofread resumes and help clients post resumes to job search engines. Perform mock interviews with current Workforce Development clients.
- # of Volunteers Needed: 1 Volunteer, 2 days a week.
- Time: 2 days a week for 2 hours (flexible)

Special Event & Membership Volunteers:
- Needed: Special Events Volunteers
Description: Misc. needs depending on event including registration, greeters, set-up, break- down, callers, etc.
Upcoming Events:

o Annual Whitney M. Young Dinner – yearly in April
# of Volunteers Needed: 10+ Volunteers per event
