The GED program includes instructor-led coursework in life skills, employment skills training, tutoring/mentoring, counselor advocacy, job placement assistance and continuing education assistance. There are two levels of coursework:
- GED Level 1: Goals: to obtain required classroom training hours and increase math and reading competency to advance to Level 2.
- GED Level 2: Goals: to pass required exams in reading, science, social studies, math and writing to obtain general equivalency diploma.
Length: 8 week of instructor-lead classroom training
Hours: GED Level 1: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
GED Level 2: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
2015 Prerequisit testing dates:
July 30, September 17 & September 24
