PROJECT READY MENTOR - STONE GARDEN
On July 24th, twelve ULCC Project Ready Mentor participants completed a stone garden on campus as part of a service learning project. Project Ready Mentor is a youth development program that assists students with College, Career, and Cultural readiness. The group of high school seniors decided to create the stone garden to commemorate their time at Phillip O. Berry (POB). “It was a pleasure to work with POB and the students, said Ashley Williams, program manager. “Watching this group flourish over the last four years, I know they are destined for great things.”
