This certification program is focused on the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to be ready for certification and immediate entry-level employment within the HVAC industry.  Topics learned include, but not limited to, mechanical refrigeration, heating and cooling theory, electricity, controls and safety.  While in training, individuals can sit for the National EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required by most employers, which allows for working with freon which is associated with air conditioning and refrigeration.
